The work, in practical terms.
- PLC & HMI
- Machine sequences, operator screens, modifications and startup troubleshooting. I work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, AutomationDirect and IDEC controls.
- SCADA & data
- Process monitoring, alarms and data collection with Ignition, ThingsBoard, Wonderware (AVEVA) and Siemens WinCC to help explain what the equipment is doing.
- Retrofits & panels
- Controls replacement and integration, with panel fabrication available through a partner UL-certified shop.
- Fault investigation
- On-site investigation of recurring equipment failures, supported by operating data and a clear account of the findings.
An independent controls business
You’ll work directly with me.
I run StottCon in North Idaho. I work with OEMs and other controls firms, and bring nearly a decade of PLC, HMI and SCADA experience to the job. Tell me what’s installed and what you need it to do. That’s a better starting point than a product catalog.
